1st-15th Apr '08 - The “Magic of 21” was the catchphrase for the promotion that saw prices at the Food Court and entertainment zone plummeted to Rs 21.People enjoyed Rajasthani folk dance performances, magic shows, tattoo drawing events, game shows and tarot card reading. The evenings witnessed some interactive game shows, live performances by some of the city’s amateur rock bands and they had much more to participate and win !

15th Apr '08 - Mani Square celebrated the Bengali New Year with Baisakhi Blast that saw aspiring  DJ’s of the city compete for glory. 21 participants were judged by  DJ Harish, Don Manuel, DJ Mansoor and DJ Akaash. The terrace of the mall was flocked by music enthusiasts who tapped their foot to the groovy tunes.

Castrol Power 1 passion Hunt
21st Mar '08 -The second round of the Castrol Power1 Passion Hunt, a nationwide search for India's most passionate biker, was held in kolkata.It offers a platform to biking enthusiasts across the country to come together to showcase and share their passion for biking and a chance to win R1 Super Bike and meet Actor John Abrahim. The Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker competition included a test of biking skills, bike style quotient, biking knowledge and overall passion for biking.It was exciting to see several biking groups like Hell Riders, X Races, XAV and more; from Kolkata participating in the preliminary round with full gusto. The aim of these local biking groups is to build a strong biking fraternity in India.
 Anil Nagbanshi beat back tough competition from 120 bikers to win the title of the Castrol Power1 Most Passionate Biker from Kolkata.  This event helded in eight cities (Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore) and winners from each city  competed against each other at the National Finals helded in New Delhi.

Gillette Mach3 Turbo promo show came with a new Red sporty razor along with a computer game show on weekends in February.

NOKIA
During january, Nokia 5800 Xpress muzik promo show was an attraction for people on weekends @ City cetre; Mani square; Forum. A singer guitarist inside a big dummy phone was the other attraction where people get to listen and dedicate live songs to their loved ones by selecting songs on touch screen. Play music on ONE touch - was the concept of the show.

It was one of the popular event of the year and people engaged in many creative activities n talent shows, Celebrity Judges, participation in various competitions like art..dance..fashion.. etc. Some celebrity performances by "JAL" Band, Shayne hyrapiet, Anjan dutta, Jojo ... P.C.sarkar junior's magic show , Fashion shows n some Dance troupe performances. The show was all about having Fun ..chilling out .. participating in Contests.. winning Prizes ..n Shoppin as well.
